Louis Wain (1860 – 1939) was an English artist with something of an obsession with cats. During his lifetime he painted hundreds of paintings of cats in a wide range of style. In the final years of his life he suffered from mental illness and paintings produced during this time are considered some of the earliest examples of psychedelic art.
We’ve chosen a few of him more whimsical cat paintings to create art prints, coffee mugs, and more. They make great gifts for the cat lovers in your life (even if the gift is to yourself!).
